Stress Mitigation - 10 Good Actions to Limit Stress Resulting From Your Online Business

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Lots of us choose to work at home to bypass the many stressors associated with the typical nine to five job - issues like an unreasonable manager, too much work and/or foolish cut offs.

But, we may quickly learn that home working brings its own issues.  So, how do we handle these new problems?

1.  Organize A Efficient Workspace

Be sure you’ve got a private workspace, along with all the necessary appliances such as telephone, computer, printer, fax, and so on. You will need a snug chair and a good desk.  You can make your home office more welcoming by ensuring that you have plenty of space, lots of light - and, if you’re a feng shui fan, have someone come in and feng shui your space!

2.  Remove Unnecessary Activities

Go thru your Action List and delete anything that truly doesn’t have a place on the list, or anything that doesn’t totally need to be accomplished.  Be determined in your choices - delete as much unnecessary work as possible.  Doing so will not only save you the effort you would spend trying to do those tasks - it will also save you the strain and physical problems associated with worrying about those nonessential tasks.

3.  Obtain Necessary Tools and Equipment

The right tools and equipment make any job much simpler.  Invest the cash to get the basic equipment you need to do your job.  And, if your financial position allows, spend some additional cash to get the conveniences that ( while not absolutely necessary ) will streamline your vocation and make your life usually much less stressed.

Buy a stable, computerized marketing management system and let technology handle lead management and order accomplishment tasks for your business.

4. Engage a Personal Assistant ( s )

Determine tasks that are normal, recurring and not among your key processes.  Contemplate outsourcing them to a remote admin (which is lots more reasonable than you may think).  Candidates for outsourcing include article marketing, website design, SEO, backlinking, lead follow-ups, etc.

5.  Create a Support Group

Working from home can become a very lonely activity.  Build a strong support network - this may be a group of colleagues with whom you work together via the Net (e.g, forums, chat rooms ) or a local group in your community or church.  The main thing is to stay in regular contact with people who are important to you - and who can understand what you are going thru as an entrepreneur.

A very good starting place for collecting all the knowledge about internet marketing that you’ll need to be successful is to join the Online Success for Beginners program.

6.  Control Your Aspirations

Don’t expect miracles or overnight success.  Build a connection with a coach or friend who can help you set realistic goals and expectations - and help you stay inspired when things don’t go quite the way you need them to go. An online, or home-based business, is just that - a business.  As such it requires a continuing supply of clients and products and sellers, etc.  Every one of those presents another opportunity for a problem to occur, increasing your daily levels of stress - just like the common 9-5 position.

7. “Chunk-It”

Your great and wonderful goals may sound galvanizing, but taken in total, they can be extraordinarily overpowering and scary ( e.g., “I want to be a millionaire” or “I need to retire in five years”).  The smartest thing to do with such grand goals is to “chunk them,” i.e, break them into much smaller, more manageable chunks and then make a plan to attain each of those subordinate goals.

8.  Eat Nutritional Foods

Eat a healthy, nutritious diet rich in fruit and vegetables.  Reduce or eliminate caffeine ( coffee, black and green tea, cola drinks, and chocolate ).

9.  Work Out

Exercise relieves tension, increases oxygen to the brain, and gives a a brief interlude from stressful work-related activities.

10.  Rest & Recreate

Try to book time as a normal part of your day to slow down and do anything you enjoy, even if it is just for a few minutes.

One of the biggest advantages of a based work-at-home} business is that you are now your own chief - but that’s also one of the biggest causes of stress in your life.  You are now the one individual who needs to decide what tasks need to be done, when and by whom.

As a further step in reducing your overall stress levels, request the FREE MaxPro Report and Audio that will share the age-old secrets of creating wealth and show you extra methods you can scale back the hassle related to running your online business.

Don’t Let the Recession Stop You From Starting a Home Business

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Many people who are interested in starting a home business assume that because the country is in a major recession right now, this is not the time; however, I ask you to consider the facts:

1. For most of the big life decisions, e.g., starting a business, getting married, having your first child - there is never a “perfect” time.

2. If you want to be wealthy, you need to own your own business - 93% of the wealthy do.

3. In 2006, Fortune magazine called direct selling, including network marketing, “the best kept secret in the business world” with a 91% growth over the previous 10 years. It has a market of $30 billion in the United States and $100 billion worldwide. That figure is expected to reach 6 billion by 2012.

4. Financial experts call it a “recession proof” industry.

5. Warren Buffet called his purchase of a network marketing company the best investment he’d ever made.

6. Tom Peters, author of In Search of Excellence, called it the first truly revolutionary marketing shift in the past 50 years.

7. When you work from home, you don’t have to worry about the high costs of gas, parking or daycare for your children.

8. There are significant tax advantages from owning an online business.

9. Online businesses are generally easy to start. All you need are basic language skills and the ability to point, click and follow directions.

10. If you’ve always wanted to be your own boss, let the internet put you in the driver’s seat with your own online business! The upside is great - you can make a lot of money.

Affiliate programs are doubtless the easiest paths to initiate an online company, and most of them also deliver coaching per the product that you will be selling for them.

The problem with most online programs, however, is that their coaching is narrow, and generally focused only on teaching you about their product (s). Sadly, you will have to have more data and skills than that.

A very good place to start for collecting all the rest of the education about internet marketing that you’ll need is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners course.

Regardless of the recession, business continues - hundreds of thousands of businesses will launch within the next 12 months. You can be among them? Aren’t you ready to leave the 9-5 rat race behind you?

Carpe Diem! Don’t let opportunity pass you by; seize the day! Now is the right time to start an online business .

Reach Your Goals

Overcome Your Anxieties

We all have dreams and most of us have dreams about living the good life, having plenty of time to spend with our families or being able to retire in comfort.

Past disappointments tend to limit our willingness to take the risks necessary to become successful.  Many of us are afraid to fail, so we limit ourselves when it comes to pursuing our dreams of success.

Change is everywhere, and nowhere more prevalent than in the internet marketing industry.  So how do we find the wisdom and the courage to take the next step on our journey to achieving our goals?

Attitude Is Critical

Sir Winston Churchill once said, “Success is measured by your ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures.”

Every day my inbox is filled with advertisements for newer and better ways to perform internet marketing.  But differentiating the good ones from the others?  In many cases, the only way to find out is to give them a try.

Success Personality

One Gallup organization in-depth study of the “success personality” explored the attitudes and traits of 1500 randomly selected individuals from Who’s Who in America. The three most significant traits they found were:

1) Common Sense - the ability to simplify a complex subject by getting to the core of what matters

2) Knowing One’s Field - first-hand knowledge as well as support from experienced coaches, and

3) Self-Reliance

Noted author, Brian Tracy, has stated, “All successful men and women are big dreamers. They visualize their ideal future and then do the legwork necessary to realize those dreams.”

Success Formula

If you want to achieve your dreams, apply the following success formula:

1) Determine your desired outcome(s)

2) Be proactive - meaning, do something!

3) Notice and feedback results

4) If the results are not what you want, change your strategy

For home business owners, the ability to maintain enthusiasm between failures (or more likely, between massive sales) will, indeed, separate the successful ones from the unsuccessful ones.

And one of the best ways to maintain your enthusiasm is to associate yourself with successful people - teachers, mentors and other gurus who’ve “been there and done that” and are already successful.

A superb starting place for collecting all the education about internet marketing that you’ll need is to enroll in the Online Success for Beginners classes.

Full-time RV’ing and Affiliate Business Opportunities

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Boomers Love Life!

Baby Boomers have attained their fifties and sixties in huge numbers and have vowed never to age badly. As a generation we’re more a part of the world at large than any previous generation at the same age.

Many of us want to de-stress our lives but we still need a reliable income, and we want to stay relevant in society (i.e., we’re not ready for the nursing home just yet).

Starting and running an online business is a wonderful way for Boomers to keep involved, generate a healthy income, and simultaneously, enable the freedom and mobility that they long for.

Many Boomers love to travel, and specifically, they love RV’ing. Wouldn’t it be great if there were a way to travel the country in an RV and still be able to earn a good living?

Happily, there is!

All you need is a computer with a wireless internet connection, an online business - and, of course, a recreational vehicle, or “RV” as they’re known. With this limited equipment, you can manage a million-dollar company from anywhere that the highway takes you.

When the weather is good, you may go see friends or family in the northern US, or even Canada, but then when winter comes and the temperatures drop, you might want to “blue-bird” it to the warmer southern climates..

Combine Work & Play!

Either way, you can operate your affiliate business easily and comfortably from your RV - and you get to choose how much - or how little - time you work!

This is a good way to take an early retirement, or increase your retirement income, plus, you won’t have to worry so much about what is going to happen to Social Security, health care, etc. because you know your online business will be generating a reliable second income for you, and doing so in a way that gives you the freedom and mobility you’ve worked so hard to earn.

I know this can be done because I’ve done it - I’ve been a fulltime RVer and conducted my business via the internet more mobility and generally, greater freedom.

I’m running my own internet marketing business. I’m a firm believer in “Stewardship Education” - meaning, what I learn, I pass on to others. I encourage you to take this opportunity to take control of your future.

A very good starting point for collecting all the education about internet marketing that you will need to succeed is to sign up for the Online Success for Beginners course.

Downsized? Earn Money While You Do Your Job Search

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Have you recently been downsized?

Since you’ve been downsized, have you found that it’s hard to find another job like the one you had?

Present Conditions

If so, you’re in good company.  December 2007 marks the official beginning of this recession, and since then, more than 5.7 million jobs have been eliminated.  According to the Associated Press (AP), after the May 8th release of the April, 2009 unemployment numbers:

  • 13.7 million people were out of work in April, 2009, and that was the largest number since 1948
  • 539,000 jobs were lost in the month of April alone
  • 8.9% unemployment (the highest since September, 1983), but if people who’ve been laid off and just given up or accepted part-time work, are included, that number jumps to 15.9% unemployment - the highest since 1994

If you’ve been out of work for more than a month, you may be feeling depressed, or maybe even a little panicky as you observe the pages of the calendar turn, with still no work on the horizon.  In addition to your short term worries, you’re probably also concerned about things like being able to send your kids to college, or how to fund your retirement.

There are basically three options in this situation:

  1. Freak out
  2. Keep doing what you’ve been doing (the same things that haven’t yet found you a new job), or
  3. Try something new

Option 1:  Panic

The first option, panic, is completely counter-productive, and should be avoided at all costs.  A little fear is a great motivator; it can help us focus and energize us for the actions that need to be taken. Panic, unlike fear, debilitates us and degrades our ability to respond to the crises we face.

Option 2:  Continue Doing What You’ve Been Doing

If doing what you have always been doing had been successful for you, you wouldn’t be reading this article right now.  Unless you’re willing to change, and try something new, you’re only going to end up with more of what you already have.

This economy has proved to be very challenging - good people I know have been unemployed for six months or more.  Despite doing all the “right things” (e.g, answering help wanted ads and sending out resumes), what have they got to show for all that effort?  Nothing. Zilch.

Not very many people are getting hired in this economy; many people are not even getting callbacks from their resumes.

Option 3:  Try Something Different

The third option - do something different - seems to be the only plausible solution.  But this leaves you with many, many choices - so, where should you start?

Do something different: start a home business .

  • Let this be the last time that anyone will ever lay you off, or outsource your job.
  • Don’t let your job keep you from spending quality time with your family and friends.

Shift gears; become your own boss!  Start an internet business!

A excellent place to start for gleaning all the necessary understanding about internet marketing that you will need is to sign up for the Online Success for Beginners classes.

The home-based business industry accounts for approximately 7 billion annually and provides many tax benefits, more control over your time, your work, and your money.  If you apply the Law of Large Numbers to your personal situation, like insurance companies do, you’d minimize the current recessionary risks. Insurers mitigate their risk of loss by spreading that risk across thousands, or even millions, of customers.

Starting an online business will let you reach thousands, and millions, of prospects allowing you to spread your recessionary risks across multiple people, regions and countries.   To minimize your recessionary risks, do like the insurance companies do - spread your risk across lots of people, regions, and even countries.while building a luxury lifestyle

Become a Millionaire without Winning the Lottery!

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Have you ever longed to become a millionaire, but thought that was not even a possibility?  Don’t lose your hopes - becoming a millionaire is possible.

Did you know that some experts forecast there will be about 1,000,000 new millionaires produced during the next decade, and about 90% of them will make their fortunes as a direct result of their activities on the internet.

NicheMarketAdvisor.com reported (June 2009) that the quantity of millionaires in the US has more than doubled in only a single year, and the majority of them made their wealth using the Net.

A few of them, are of course, the “brainiac” types like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, but lots of these wealthy tycoons are normal people - just like you and me.  What separates them from the masses, however, is that they are totally dedicated to success.  Millionaires retain a positive attitude that actually attracts wealth to their doorstep.  They know that their thoughts determine their future.

Personally, I’m intending to join their ranks; how about you?

There’s childhood rhyme that goes like this:  “Yard by yard like is hard, but inch by inch life’s a cinch!”

It’s quite difficult to become a millionaire on your own, but it’s much easier if you connect with a strong mentoring and support group.  One excellent place to start for securing all the education about internet marketing that you’ll need to be successful is to join the Online Success for Beginners classes.

Internet millionaires share a number of common qualities, but most important among them is an affinity for taking action.

Famous scientist, Louis Pasteur once said, “Chance favors the prepared mind” and likewise with entrepreneurs - those who are geared up seem to obtain more opportunities than those who are not prepared.

Successful entrepreneurs know how to recognize opportunities, and when they see one, they act - quickly and decisively.  Because they’ve done their homework in the past, they are ready and willing to grab opportunities when they appear.

How about you - are you prepared?.

This is your invitation to learn what it takes to become a millionaire - and to understand that becoming a millionaire is possible for you.  You don’t have to be a brain surgeon, or one of the Hollywood stars you see on TV or the movie screen.  You just need the yearning, determination, and the readiness to work hard and follow the guidance of experts.

If you would like to learn how to leverage your efforts, put your income on autopilot, and become a millionaire, get the FREE MaxPro Report and CD here.
